Arlington, TX (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) – By popular demand and starting on March 11, 2023, the Arlington Museum of Art will host its popular DIY art parties as a regularly scheduled event series. Hosted in the intimate setting of the museum, Art+Wine at the AMA will be held monthly on or near the second Saturday (excluding August).

“We’re so excited to partner with local artists to regularly host Art+Wine at the AMA,” said Chris Hightower, President and CEO of the Arlington Museum of Art. “These parties are such a fun, interactive way for people to learn about art by rolling up their sleeves together.”

On Saturday, March 11, the AMA kicks off the series with Arlington-based artist Cara Robbins Karan. Cara will lead participants through the steps to create a painting inspired by her “Trees” series, which can be viewed on her website: crkimpressions.com

Participants will enjoy step-by-step painting instruction so that by the end of the workshop, they’ll have their very own canvas painting to take home with them. Wine and snacks are included in the price of admission. The same painting will be taught at two different workshops on March 11:

Tickets for both March 11 Art+Wine workshops are available for purchase now at: arlingtonmuseum.org/event-tickets-art-and-wine-3-11-23

The next Art+Wine at the AMA event will be held on Saturday, April 8. Details are coming soon.
