Bring your little ones to the new AMA series, Storytime with the Arlington Public Library. Held every other Wednesday at the Arlington Museum of Art, Storytime is a celebration of books, art, movement, imagination, and smiles. We’ll begin Storytime with a book read theatrically by a Children’s Librarian from the Arlington Public Library. Sometimes we’ll even treat you to a puppet show! Then you and your child will participate in an art activity related to the story.
Storytime with Arlington Public Library is a great way for children to enjoy reading with you and other children their age. It also teaches children how to transform their listening skills into tactile skills by creating an original piece of art.
Storytime events are held either in the Community Gallery, Board Room, or Education Center. When you arrive at the museum, please check in at the front desk.
