The Arlington Museum of Art is proud to announce a new partnership with Tom Thumb and Albertsons. Between August 9 – September 4, 2022, you can purchase discount tickets to see Disney Art from Private Collections from any Tarrant County Tom Thumb or Albertsons store. Not only will you get $2 off regular admission tickets, we’ll donate $3 of your purchase to Tarrant Area Food Bank.
The discount ticket prices available at Tarrant County area Tom Thumb and Albertsons stores are:
- Adult (19-54): $18 (regular ticket price: $20)
- Senior (55+): $13 (regular ticket price: $15)
- Youth (13-18): $13 (regular ticket price: $15)
- Child (2-12): $5
- Infant (0-1): Free
About Disney Art from Private Collections
Disney Art from Private Collections runs through Sept. 4, 2022, and can only be seen at the Arlington Museum of Art in Arlington, Texas! This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in an exhibition of over 250 original animation sketches and cels, character studies, and concept drawings by legendary Disney animators including Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, and Andreas Deja. These one-of-a-kind works come from private collections including Deja’s own, and they showcase 80 years of the art behind Disney films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, The Princess and the Frog, and many more.

Founded in 1982, the Tarrant Area Food Bank serves people seeking food assistance include low-wage workers and their families, senior citizens living on fixed incomes, victims of family violence and of disasters, the chronically ill, the severely disabled, the homeless, the under-employed, and the temporarily and long-term unemployed.
