Arlington, TX (September 22, 2022) — The Arlington Museum of Art raised more than $30,000 this year on North Texas Giving Day, the most successful in the museum’s history of participating in the region-wide, one-day campaign.

As a result of the grassroots campaign, the museum raised $20,593 in individual donations. By receiving the largest number of text-in votes during a 10-hour period, the AMA was also awarded $10,000 as the winner of the 2022 People’s Choice grant sponsored by the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation.

“The response from our community is amazing!” said Chris Hightower, president and CEO of Arlington Museum of Art. “They inspire us to dream big and curate exhibitions beyond the norm–the kind of exhibitions that inspire our diverse community as well as attract visitors from all over the world.”
