Summer Art Camp at the AMA

The Arlington Museum of Art Summer Art Camp is a total immersion in the life of a busy museum!

Campers roll up their sleeves every day as professional art educators teach them about the skills and techniques developed by the most successful artists of all time. By the end of the week, campers will have their very own portfolio of work, just like a professional artist!

AMA Summer Art Camp includes:

• Curriculum focused on art mediums, skills and techniques related to the museum’s summer exhibit
• Classes taught by art educators from Arlington Independent School District
• Docent-led tour of our summer exhibition
• A collection of artwork that each child can keep
• All art supplies are provided
• Snacks and beverages are also provided every day

Our half-day, week-long camps are tailored for children aged 6-12. Camps are held Monday-Friday from Camp sessions are held between June 10 and August 2. (except for the week of July 4th).
