Storytime with the Arlington Public Library: Playdough Play Day
November 13 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm FREE, BUT REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Bring your little ones to the AMA series, Storytime with the Arlington Public Library. Held every other Wednesday at the Arlington Museum of Art, Storytime is a celebration of books, art, movement, imagination, and smiles. Admission and parking are free.
We’ll begin Storytime with a book read theatrically by a Children’s Librarian from the Arlington Public Library. Sometimes we’ll even treat you to a puppet show! Then you and your child will participate in an art activity related to the story. Storytime with Arlington Public Library is a great way for children to enjoy reading with you and other children their age. It also teaches children how to transform their listening skills into tactile skills by creating an original piece of art.
Storytime events are held either in the HELP Center Gallery, Traditional Gallery, or Boardroom. When you arrive at the museum, please check in at the front desk.
Join us for hands-on exploration as we use playdough to shape, mold, cut, stamp and practice other handbuilding techniques using our imagination. Take your selected color of playdough home for more fun later!
