Silk Water Marbling Class @ Catalyst Creative

In collaboration with Catalyst Creative, we are excited to offer a Silk Water Marbling Class! Only 20 seats are available at this time, so sign up now!

In this class, paint is applied to the surface of a special water bath. Floating the colors in our custom-built water marbling trays, combs, rakes and a stylus are used to create a one of a kind masterpiece silk scarf. The class begins with our artist giving instructions and making the first water marbled scarf to demonstrate multiple design techniques. Each person’s first scarf is $50. Additional scarves per person are $30. We prepare the exact amount of material ahead of time for each class. No refunds or credits for cancellations less than 24 hours in advance or for no shows.

This Water Marbling Class is a collaborative effort between the Arlington Museum of Art and Catalyst Creative. The Class will be held at Catalyst Creative’s Studio, located at 300 W Main St, Arlington, TX 76010.

Event Details

• This event is $50, and takes place on Saturday, April 19th, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
• The Catalyst Creative Art studio is located at 300 W Main St, Arlington, TX 76010.
• Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times.
• Pre-registration is required (link below). No walk-ins, please.
