The Community Art Showcase

Reception: Friday, October 28, 6:30 – 9 pm.

This six week exhibit celebrates the vitality of visual art in Arlington. Artists from across the Metroplex participate in this annual event to display one or two of their artistic creations in the Arlington Museum of Art during October and November. This is not a juried exhibition so all artwork which meets the museum’s eligibility criteria is included in the show. The exhibition is amazingly varied both in media and subject matter. The quality of the art on display is a great tribute to the artistic ability of citizens in our community whether they are amateur or professional artists. The Main gallery and Mezzanine galleries are filled with a delightful showcase of community art. You don’t want to miss this exhibition.
