From the Speakers to the Brush

In January 2012 B.A.C. will host its second show for amateur and new artists. The theme of the show is the influence of music for visual artists, from the creative process to execution to subject matter. For this show Get B.A.C. wants each artist to examine this influence and its relation to art. Music is art and art is music, so let’s create that visually.

Artists include Orlando Sanchez, Nychelle Elise, Rosie Lee, Cindy Nzeakor, Rich Malloy, Alonzo Smith III, Joonbug and more young artists.

What is B.A.C.?

Getbac.org is dedicated to celebrating and promoting amateur visual and performing artists, as well as, new and professional artists. GetBAC.org or Get Bridges Across Credentials is designed to help amateur and new artist transition to professional artists by allowing them to display their works in art institutions increasing their chances for public recognition and sales of artworks.

January 21 from 6-9 p.m.

Dj Kawon Jenkins will fill the opening reception with music as the Get B.A.C. organization will present and celebrate the artists of From the Speakers to the Brush. Tickets include food and live entertainment.
