Great Rental Space to Display Your Art

The Artist Gallery Rental Program is provided by the Arlington Museum of Art to help regional artists introduce their work to residents of Arlington and surrounding communities. Whether you want to do a solo exhibition or team with a group of artist friends for a group show, we have gallery space to hang your creations.

Five galleries from which to choose
Wall space for displaying art is available for rent in five galleries in the museum: The Denker Gallery on street level, three galleries on the Allan Saxe Mezzanine Level, and the Rooftop Gallery on the third floor. All galleries have hanging rails and are equipped with spotlights for ample lighting. Some pedestals are available to display three dimensional work. Cases are not available for display of jewelry.

Monthly Rental
You may rent wall display space on a monthly basis for solo shows or group exhibits at very affordable prices.
Mezzanine West – $350
Mezzanine Center – $300
Mezzanine East – $200
Rooftop Gallery – $250
Denker Gallery – $175
As many as ten artists have rented several gallery spaces as a group and shared the cost to make an exciting large exhibit and bring in even more gallery guests for the show. The museum will promote your exhibit through the AMA website and email newsletters.

Requirements
Exhibits usually are hung on Mondays and Tuesdays when the museum is closed, and exhibits end on Sunday closing time at the end of the rental period. Art hung in rental galleries must be original art, framed and equipped with secure wire hangers. Work will be arranged and hung by the party renting space. Labels, signage and food and drink provisions for artist receptions are the responsibility of the party renting space. When possible, the AMA schedules receptions concurrent with other exhibits in the museum to attract greater attendance.
