Journey Down the Danube
Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 8:00pm

Some of the greatest and most famous music of all time has been composed in the countries along the Danube River in Europe; one automatically thinks of Mozart, Beethoven and Strauss, whose music will be included on this concert. We will also perform music of lesser known composers who lived along this iconic river, such as Hungarian composer Zoltan Kodaly, whose music reflects his love of Hungarian gypsy folk tunes. Don’t miss the river boat! Performers: Kang-Chenoweth-Smith trio with tenor Don O’Neal LeBlanc and soprano Judith Rodriguez
